'Like many of the punk generation Williamson seems torn between staying true to his angry, anti-establishment roots and embracing the material comforts of middle-aged contentment. But with a cast including Taggart, Karl Marx, Walt Disney, John Coltrane, Robert the Bruce, Pinocchio, Jesus, Norman MacCaig and Grandmaster Flash, it is a genuine pleasure to watch him swither.'
Scotland on Sunday

Chaired by Emer Martin

Kevin Williamson was editor and founder of the legendary underground Rebel Inc publishing house as well as being an acclaimed author and poet, cultural commentator and self-proclaimed ‘media terrorist’. Williamson read from his first collection of poetry, In a Room Darkened, and reflected on 15 years in the public eye as a radical, dissenting Scottish voice.
